Hallo meine Lieblings,
Sorry this blog is late. My mom was over at the weekend and I've been poorly this week so haven't felt like writing, but here I am, writing this blog now, IN MY APARTMENT, YES I FINALLY FOUND SOMEWHERE TO LIVE AND IT ONLY TOOK ME A MONTH AND A HALF. Now the next battle is getting paid, because I was told the wrong place to send all my details, so now they're floating around Deutsche Post, and my bank account is holding its breath; "Can she really keep me at 0 euros forever????????????"

Montag
Difficult to cast my mind back... Up at 5:30 as I had to be when I lived in Timmendorfer Strand, was very difficult after the holidays, got the bus to work, got to work, did my lessons, went home... HAD A 3 HOUR NAP.
Dienstag
Had a day off, put on Joe's clothes and wasted the day. It was great. I also had a clean of the house, always fun.
Mittwoch
Went to work, got home, borrring.
Donnerstag
Deb arrived today but stayed in Hamburg for the night. I sat in a refugee class again, as my regular class had a "directed studies week". Got a message to say I'd be able to see the apartment tomorrow yaaaay, which was great because Deb and Phil were over in the car so could help me move in.
Freitag
Phoned my best friend who's in France and seems to be getting on well. Awaited Deb's arrival (she got lost several times - typical). Finally reunited, went to the hotel to check in, then went to the new place and viewed it. I loved it and the landlady is really lovely. Everything's furnished, and I got my keyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!! Then we went back to Luebeck, went for a few drinks to celebrate, and had something to eat. Then we went back to the hotel and had a few more drinks. Can't beat a good piss up with ya maw after not seeing her for almost 2 months like.
Samstag
We went to Timmendorfer Strand to pick up my things, and clean up. Then Deb and I went for a walk beside the sea and get a fish finger sandwich (a Fischbroetchen). She was impressed by both the sandwich and the vast amount of dog breeds she could spot. We got back, loaded the car up, went to earn my Pfand*, then arrived at my new crib. We unpacked everything and looked through all the cupboards. We were all shattered so just went to the hotel for something to eat and a few drinks on the night.
Sonntag
Had a nice lie in, though I was very hungry, then we went out for some lunch, which was the nicest pork I've ever had in my life. Had an ice coffee to finish, you know, the November-favourite. Then went back and sat in the bar while Deb and Phil helped me create one of my lessons. We then went out for something to eat, and came back for drinks, but alas, I had an 8 am start, so just had a hot chocolate and went to bed.
*Pfand is the money you receive after recycling your plastic bottles and cans. Ya girl earned 3,50.
