Montag
Woke up, went to work, in my second lesson I had to hold the nutrition lesson I did last Wednesday for them. It was a little more difficult and I feel like because they only have English until the end of January, the motivation is a little bit low.
Dienstag
Went to work early, my teacher was off sick again, then in my lesson with my mentor I had to take a small group of students outside and go through simple past tense with them, ensuring their pronunciation was okay. I went to pick up my parcels, then got home and had a text from my landlady, asking if I could move to the apartment above (remember the airbnb I stopped in in October?) on Saturday, because she has 2 people moving into my former apartment, but the price will stay the same. I obliged. :)
Mittwoch
I only had one 45 minute lesson today, as it was project week for the Abitur classes. In that lesson the teacher had prepared a speaking activity, that I supervised and helped them with. They rolled the dice, moved the appropriate amount of squares, then they had to discuss the question on said square for 30 seconds, if they couldn't discuss it then they had to move back a square.
Donnerstag
My first class was cancelled, then in the second class I did my past tense board game. Then I got home, did some packing, and later on went out with the other assistants to Barcio.
Freitag
Because so many of my classes had been cancelled this week, my mentor asked me to come to her Friday class. When I got home I packed the rest of my things, then later on I ordered a Burgerme (they're gonna feel tripped out when they come to deliver to my new place - as I'm on the same side but one floor above, and my doorbell will be one more above).
Samstag
Joe had a second viewing on a house we liked and took his mom with him. He phoned me and told me he thinks we should put an offer in. So we did, then half an hour later he phoned back, and they'd accepted our offer! So if all the boring adult stuff like surveying and conveyancing goes well, then we have a house! I moved all my bags upstairs, so that took about 50 trips and I am now a Size 6. I unpacked everything, listening to Radio 4 podcasts. Then I did some shopping, made a fish finger sandwich, phoned my family to tell them the good news, had a bath, then made jacket potatoes, tuna and spring onions. Mateeeeeeeeee.
Sonntag
I went for a walk, I wanted to put my glass bottles in the container, but apparently you're not allowed to do that on Sundays? Hmmmmmmmm strange. Then I came back, finished my book (has anyone read Turtles All The Way Down? I didn't enjoy it at all really. Daisy was insufferable), made lunch, and now I'm typing this.
Have a good week y'all.
